This May, Camille Guaty will make a powerful return to television in the highly anticipated HBO Max crime thriller “Duster.” Produced by J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan, the series follows the first Black female FBI agent as she teams up with a getaway driver to take down a crime syndicate in 1972.

Guaty stars as Izzy Reina, a fearless and determined truck driver fighting for equality in a male-dominated industry. Izzy’s journey is inspired by the real-life story of Adriesue “Bitsy” Gomez, a pioneering female trucker who fought against discrimination and harassment in the 1970s.

A Passionate Advocate for Women’s Rights

For Camille, playing Izzy is deeply personal, reflecting her own fight for women’s rights, particularly in reproductive health. As a relentless advocate, Guaty has transformed her personal battle with infertility into a powerful mission. She has worked with organizations like RESOLVE and FACT (Fertility Advocacy Coalition for Technology) to raise awareness and drive change on fertility issues.

A Career Defined by Compelling Performances

Camille Guaty’s career spans fan-favorite series like “The Rookie,” “The Good Doctor,” “Prison Break,” and “Scorpion.” Her recent projects include “Harold and the Purple Crayon” alongside Zachary Levi and Zooey Deschanel.

Using Her Platform to Drive Change

Beyond her work in entertainment, Camille is a fierce advocate for fertility rights, foster youth, and women’s empowerment. She co-founded Foster a Dream, a nonprofit supporting LA foster youth, and works with organizations like Rise and Shine Tennessee and Kids in the Spotlight.
