Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album

The Soundtrack to Vice City: Inside the GTA 6 Soundtrack

If Grand Theft Auto is a cultural time capsule, its soundtrack is the engine.

For GTA 6, Rockstar Games is returning to Vice City — and the sound has to be just as big as the map. Set in a modern-day, neon-drenched take on Miami and the wider state of Leonida, the official soundtrack is already shaping up to be Rockstar’s most ambitious curation yet.

Think of it as two worlds colliding on the dial.

On one side: The Vice City Dream. Expect sun-bleached synth, Florida rap legends, Latin trap and Afrobeats dominating the strip — the sounds you’d actually hear blasting from a lowrider on Ocean Drive to a speedboat in the Keys. Insiders and leaks point to heavy curation around artists who are modern Florida: from Rick Ross and Flo Rida energy to Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, and Latin global heavyweights like Anitta and Bad Bunny.

On the other: The American Satire. Rockstar’s legendary talk radio and genre stations are back. From a hyper-ironic true crime podcast station narrating Leonida’s chaos, to a classic rock station for the highways, to an underground club station powered by South Beach DJ culture — every station tells the story of America right now.

And then there’s the original score. Following in the footsteps of Red Dead Redemption 2, the GTA 6 score is expected to be dynamic — swelling from lo-fi, humid ambience in the swamps to full-blown cinematic synth when the stakes rise.

Rockstar hasn’t dropped the official tracklist yet — they never do until it’s perfect. But one thing is certain: In GTA 6, you won’t just play in Vice City. You’ll hear it, you’ll feel it, and you’ll never want to turn the radio off.

GTA 6 launches in 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The radio is about to change forever.Justice – Flower In A Hurricane (ft Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard)
