Taylor Swift had a very specific vision for the setting of her “Patient Zero” music video — and this Beverly Hills estate was exactly what she had in mind.
The 36-year-old pop superstar debuted the official video at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Sept. 27. The cinematic visual stars Swift alongside Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell in a thrilling, tragic love story centered on a toxic ex.
While the cast was undeniably star-studded, another standout was the massive Brutalist-style mansion that served as Johnson and Farrell’s home throughout the video.
“The house was a metaphor for the coldness of a relationship that’s faded and atrophied,” Swift, who also directed the video, wrote in an Instagram post following the premiere.
