Resident Evil is an upcoming horror film directed by Zach Cregger and written by Cregger and Shay Hatten. It is the second reboot of the Resident Evil film series, based on Capcom’s Resident Evil video game franchise.

Capcom is officially developing Resident Evil Veronica, a complete remake of the 2000 classic Resident Evil – Code: Veronica. Announced at Summer Game Fest, the game is targeting a 2027 release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
