Jurassic World: Dominion is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow, who wrote the screenplay with Emily Carmichael, based on a story by Trevorrow and his writing partner, Derek Connolly.
After taking on dinosaurs for the second time from the director's chair in Jurassic World: Dominion, Colin Trevorrow isn’t taking a break or slowing down. In fact, he’s already got his next film set, and it sounds epic.
While “Jurassic World” did not measure up to the magic of the original “Jurassic Park,” it did make for a fantastic sequel and an excellent return to the “Jurassic” world. Stephen Spielberg, who directed the first two movies, and Joe Johnston, who directed “Jurassic Park III,” did not return to direct “Jurassic World.”
The latest installment to Stephen Spielberg’s 1993 “Jurassic Park” was in 2001 with “Jurassic Park III.” For over a decade now, moviegoers have believed that the beloved franchise would not go further than a trilogy. Although in 2009, there were talks around Universal Studios for another sequel. It’s been six years and that sequel, titled “Jurassic World,” is finally getting the release it deserves.
