My name is Monique Prestridge and I am a professional photographer specializing in Commercial, Fashion, and Beauty Photography. Born and raised in Oklahoma. I found my love for photography at the age of fifteen when I enrolled in my high school’s photography class. I used an old Pentax film camera and I would take pictures of friends and family.

I received my certification in photography in 2004 and bought my first digital camera, a Nikon D60, and then started shooting aspiring models. Unable to afford a studio space, I took to the streets and alleyways of Oklahoma City to shoot these models. It was at this time in my life that I realized, I wanted to do this for a living. I would work part-time to save up for various lenses, flashes, and other lighting equipment. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of aspiring and professional models helping to build their portfolios with strong images that will develop and grow their modeling careers.

My style is bold, edgy, and feminine. A shoot with me is often very dynamic and energetic while keeping a professional and creative mindset. My work is a blend of studio portraiture and beauty to edgy high fashion, as well as On Location editorial fashion. On many occasions, I would design and sew clothing, dresses, and other wearable items such as crowns and headpieces for upcoming photoshoots. I’m inspired by a variety of different creatives, artists, designers, and museum artworks. Willing to travel all over the U.S. and abroad for that next creative photoshoot.
