After an extensive hiatus, TreZure Empire returns to the stage and the studio, adding the title producer to her list of musical offerings. Focused on groove-based loops and ambient soundscapes, she creates a bright, globally infused sound. Upbeat yet emotional, COME DOWN’s mystical lyrics are commanding, moving her listeners to wine their waistline, worship themselves and leave worries behind.
This is the first single from her self-produced SUZIE EP, coming out this fall. Very proud and committed to her Caribbean culture, TreZure created this song to celebrate what Carnival and mas do to the spirit.
Often during Carnival processions, the heat leads to rain, at times pouring, but never stopping the masqueraders from reveling in the streets. With the devastation The Caribbean is facing this year, she hopes COME DOWN will encourage her people and remind them they can stand the rain.
