Justice League Movie Confirmed

Confirming a world of suspicions, Warner Bros. has announced that the long-rumoured Justice League of America movie will follow 2016’s Batman vs. Superman, and Zack Snyder is on board to direct.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman announced that the movie will be directed by Bats vs. Supes helmer Snyder, and Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) are all expected to return.
“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” explained Silverman. “Superman vs Batman will lead into Justice League.”
It’s a ways off, however: the JLA script is currently still in development and the film is unlikely to open before 2018.
The confirmation comes off the back of last week’s announcement that Ray Fisher has been cast as Justice League member Cyborg in Batman vs. Superman, lending credence to the rumour that a JLA movie will follow hot on its heels.
As for possible spin-offs in the DC cinematic universe, there are, sadly, no solid plans as yet. President of worldwide marketing Sue Kroll says Warner execs are “warm to the idea” of a Wonder Woman movie, yet they are waiting for “the right script.”
“The world is ready for her,” said Kroll.
In the meantime, Warner is concentrating on cinematic adaptations of other comic book properties Shazam, Metal Men, 100 Bullets, and Fables.
