My name is Thiago Benevides, known on Instagram as @garouwa, I’m 34 years old, and I was born in São Paulo, Brasil.

I started photographing in 2015 when I bought my first camera. After photographing the landscapes, birds and skyscrapers of São Paulo, I fell into the world of editorial fashion, photographing people in the open, with whom I met and made friends. A journey not aiming for anything financial but for the love of photography.

After acquiring my favorite camera, a Fuji X-T2 and an XF23mm F2 lens, I started expanding my fashion photography work to some independent magazines. Through free submission, I ended up in two interesting magazines, one in London (VMM), and the other in Italy (VOGUE).

In a way, I fell more and more in love with editorial fashion photography, and even more in love with my new camera, a Fuji X-T2, very light, compact and easy to move around.

Here I share some photos that I found interesting, all captured with the Fuji X-T2. These photoshoots took me to meet amazing people, cultures and different world views.
