“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

Inspired by Leonardo’s Da Vinci quote, this editorial is dedicated to minimal style.

Beauty and femininity is something that must be provided in a simple form. Must be authentic, clear, flawless, genuine, natural, neat, perfect, real, simple, straight, true, unalloyed, unmixed. Black and white wardrobe, along with elements of geometry in jewelry and location, reveal how purity can be combined with fashion, a story which is unraveled through the photo shoot.  Simplicity appears in many cultures.

Minimal concepts of it transmit the ideas of freedom and essence of living. It is not only an aesthetic value, it has a moral perception that looks into the nature of truth and reveals the inner qualities of materials and objects for the essence. It appreciates the absence of unnecessary features to view life in quietness and reveals the most innate character of materials.  Minimalism is a field of design associated with lifestyle, architecture, interior design and fashion, which in its purest form should apply to all aspects of the practitioner’s life. Location was chosen by those standards. Athens Olympic Sports Complex is a project of unifying the urban aesthetic and an approach of a single character building. Calatrava designed a compound based on the spatial arrangement of the ancient Acropolis and the Byzantine period of Greek architecture, where many buildings are in the form of an arc, and the blue and white colors of the Aegean Islands.

Also, the natural environment is contrasted with the built environment, which comprises the areas and components that are strongly influenced by humans belonging to a society. Black and white wardrobe was selected to provide contrast and add a kind of “character” to the pureness of the beauty. It’s an attempt to give a point of view in to a woman’s soul who’s living the edge.  Black is the color of coal, ebony, and of outer space. It is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light. It is the opposite of white and often represents darkness in contrast with light. It was one of the first colors used in art. It is also the color most commonly associated with mourning, evil, magic, the end, violence, power, secrets and mostly with elegance in fashion, followed by silver, gold, and white. White is often associated with innocence, perfection, the good, honesty, cleanliness, the beginning, the new, neutrality, lightness, and exactitude. It is also the color most often associated with innocence.

Jewelry is influenced by nature, bohemian culture, Aztec patterns, mythology, folklore and made for the modern day gypsy/gypset.  Lycidas mixes raw brass, raw crystals, semi-precious gemstones and natural mineral stones. They are based on shapes and symmetry. Natural stones and raw form is what we preferred to match with the style we were looking for.

The whole styling and model’s poses are based on symmetry (from Greek symmetria) refers to a sense of harmonious and beautiful proportion and an out coming balance. The approach involves collecting a set of harmonizing items that are optimally adjusted to a modern’s woman lifestyle. It requires a close analysis of daily activities and both practical and emotional requirements. To show life as simple as it is!
