Für mich ist die Fotografie ein Tor zur Vergangenheit. Betrachten wir ein Bild, betrachten wir es nicht nur als Abbild eines Moments. Wir erkennen darin mehr. Wir erfinden Geschichten, die hinter dem Bild stecken könnten oder erinnern uns an diejenigen, die wir mit ihm verbinden. Erinnerung und Erfindung entsprechen dabei nie der Komplexität des Moments. Diese Unvollkommenheit ermöglicht es dem Betrachter, das Foto mit eigenen Gedanken zu füllen. Und so entsteht etwas noch nicht Dagewesenes. Es entsteht eine neue Idee von Vergangenheit. Das ist, was mich an der Fotografie fasziniert. Die Zusammenarbeit mit diversen Models, Visagisten und Stylisten fasziniert mich schon lange und dies finde ich das interessante an meinem Beruf. Begonnen habe ich damals als Koch und jetzt arbeite ich Europaweit in der Fotografie. Es war schon immer faszinierend für mich, ein Bild zu erstellen, auf welches man länger als eine Sekunde schaut.

For me, photography is a gateway to the past. If we look at a picture, we consider it not only as an image of a moment. We recognize more. We are inventing stories that could be behind the picture or remind us of those we connect with it. Remembrance and invention never correspond to the complexity of the moment. This imperfection allows the viewer to fill the photo with his own thoughts. And this is the way to something that has not yet happened. It creates a new idea of the past. That is what fascinates me about photography.

The cooperation with various models, make-up artists and stylists fascinated me for a long time and I find them interesting in my profession. I started as a cook at the time and now I am working in photography throughout Europe. It has always been fascinating for me to create a picture to look at for more than a second.
