Death Stranding is an upcoming action game developed by Kojima Productions. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their disbandment from Konami in 2015. It is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 by Sony Interactive Entertainment in November 2019, and for Windows by 505 Games in 2020. The title of the game is a reference to the cetacean stranding phenomenon.

Actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Troy Baker, and Lindsay Wagner provided motion capture, 3D scannings, and vocal performances, while film directors Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn are also featured. Following its announcement at E3 2016, Death Stranding was widely anticipated. It has received generally favorable reviews from critics.
