Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (stylized as Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII) is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on October 12, 2018, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the sequel to the 2015 game Call of Duty: Black Ops III and will be the fourth entry in the Black Ops subseries, and the 15th main installment in the Call of Duty series overall. It will also be the first game in the series to not feature a traditional single player campaign mode, with the game placing heavy emphasis on multiplayer and cooperative modes.
