Sony will once again be skipping E3. Despite the PS5's imminent launch this holiday season, the company has told GamesIndustry.biz that it will not have a presence at E3 2020.
Now it's official: Both Sony and Microsoft will release their next generation of consoles near the end of 2020. As per tradition, it may happen in November, but that doesn't matter too much.
Sony has indicated it is in the midst of creating the follow-up to the PlayStation 4. Speaking in an interview with the Financial Times, company president Kenichiro Yoshida said "at this point, what I can say is it's necessary to have a next-generation hardware.
