The idea of the shoot was to capture Emmy in several different scenarios that prominently feature natural light. Emmie is a talented model from the Dallas, Texas area, and I’ve worked with her several times, so I knew the looks would be amazing. Emmy is a very versatile model that can shoot any style easily, and even more importantly, she is a wonderful person and a pleasure to be around. Emmie is always focused on getting the perfect shot, regardless of location, weather, or temperature. We had outfits from Fashion Nova, who makes incredible apparel, Colleen Kelly Swimwear, one of my favorite swimwear companies, and Koast Apparel, so I knew that this shoot was going to be very special.
The first outfits was a black bodysuit, so we wanted to get a few shots that captured her athletic physique, and movement. Emmy delivered exactly what we were looking for immediately.
The next outfit was the Summer Vibes T-shirt, and denim shorts. We wanted to capture these in plenty of natural light to deliver a summertime feel for the photos, and Emmy’s sultry looks delivered the exact look we were hoping for.
We continued the natural light theme with the next outfit. Emmy delivered a “Sexy All American Girl” look with a fun and flirtatious attitude, and we used different locations and natural light during the golden hour for artistic shots.
We also wanted to work a few street themed looks into the mix, so we started with the “No Thank You” shirt from Fashion Nova, and shot it in natural light for a slightly grittier black and white look.
Colleen Kelly is one of my favorite swimwear designers, and I’ve worked with her for years. We picked a fringe front microkini from her collection, and Emmy looked amazing in it.
Last but not least, we shot a street fashion look outside with a shirt from Koast Apparel. I’ve started working with them recently, and everyone loves their outfits. The fun and summer vibe in Koast’s gear was the perfect way to wrap up the layout.
Stay tuned for more collaborations with Emmy coming soon!
