Ballet Russe 20

ENGLISH VERSION:

The Russian ballet editorial project is inspired by the fascination of the 1910s, where a well-known Russian impresario Sergej Djagilev founded a classical dance company called the Russian Ballets. With this editorial, I and stylist Alice Mastrolilli wanted to recreate a seductive and opulent fascination as it was in use in the voluptuous dances of the Russian Ballets combining it with the most modern photo cuts. We want to propose an editorial with a unique flavor, a mix of retro romanticism and modernity that are also found in the choice of velvet garments combined with leather or lamé details combined with tulle. The setting in an ancient natural theater is perfect for a ballet brought to life only for a perfect day.
